Pottery Workshop #9: Bowl - Work with a template and texture (2-Part)

Create your own bowl in this two-part pottery workshop. You’ll build your piece during the first session and learn to use a template and add texture. Participants are encouraged to bring household items to create their favorite textures—for example, old buttons, nuts from bolts, and more. Your bowl can be used for chips, snacks, dips, or any other favorite treats. Return the following week to glaze your finished piece.

Notes: 

 * Images are for reference only. Participants are encouraged to get creative and make their own unique designs!

* This workshop is hand-building only (no pottery wheel).

Schedule
• Building: Thursday, March 12, 6-8 p.m.
• Glazing: Thursday, March 19, 6-8 p.m.

Sign up online or in person at the Gallery. Purchase of the workshop confirms your registration and secures your spot.  Please bring your order confirmation or receipt at the workshop. It can be on your phone, no need to print.

Good to Know
• Tools, clay, glazing, and firing included
• Wear clothes that can get messy (no aprons provided)
• Adults only
• Please arrive 10 minutes early and clean your workspace before leaving
• Pieces may crack during firing — Galerie Acanthus is not responsible
• Classes may be cancelled if minimum registration is not met (full refund)

Cancellation Policy
• 7+ days before: full refund
• Less than 6 days: refund only if your spot is filled
• No-shows: no refund (you may send a friend)

You’ll be notified when your pottery is ready for pickup.
