Pottery Workshop #10: Open Creations (2-Part)

Bring your ideas and create whatever you like in this two-part pottery workshop! You’ll have 2 pounds of clay to work with, and the pottery instructor will be there to guide, advise, and assist while you bring your vision to life. Will it be a flower frog, a mup, an air plant planter, or something entirely different? Return the following week to glaze your finished piece.

Because the session is only two hours and the instructor cannot assist everyone individually for long periods, a basic knowledge of hand-building techniques is recommended.

We also strongly encourage participants to prepare a template or sketch in advance and to look at a few YouTube tutorials to familiarize themselves with the project they want to create.

• Building: Monday, March 23, 6-8 p.m.
• Glazing: Monday, March 30, 6-8 p.m.

Sign up online or in person at the Gallery. Purchase of the workshop confirms your registration and secures your spot.

Good to Know
• Tools, clay, glazing, and firing included
• Wear clothes that can get messy (no aprons provided)
• Adults only
• Please arrive 10 minutes early and clean your workspace before leaving
• Pieces may crack during firing — Galerie Acanthus is not responsible
• Classes may be cancelled if minimum registration is not met (full refund)

• 7+ days before: full refund
• Less than 6 days: refund only if your spot is filled
• No-shows: no refund (you may send a friend)

You’ll be notified when your pottery is ready for pickup.
